Ourglass Student Literary & Art Magazine
The Ourglass is a journal of the English, graphic design, and visual arts programs at Community College of Denver, dedicated to providing a forum for the poetry, prose, drama, design, and artwork of the CCD students.
I was selected to design the 40th Anniversary edition of the Ourglass. I was tasked to design the cover, page layout, typography, and curate the artwork from the collection of student art from years past.
The geometric cover design is comprised of images from the Ourglass covers from the 1980's to current. The book is printed with a poster insert with the thumbnails of the covers to honor the 40 years of history.
